Iran is prepared to restart atomic negotiations with Washington on condition that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue worked, and disclosed recent overtures had been made by go-betweens to restart negotiations with the Trump administration. He said Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Iran had not yet reached a point to authorize the UN nuclear inspectorate to visit struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.

Walking a Challenging Route

Araghchi is navigating a challenging course since Iran aims to avoid be perceived to be proceeding from a position of disadvantage, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out stronger defensively and emotionally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

Iranian officials claimed they felt they had reached a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in prior discussions, when it was agreed an domestic cooperative with US participation could refine atomic fuel. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the discussions that American atomic experts could function on Iranian soil, but that was a reasonable assumption of the cooperative offer. Araghchi said: "Tehran was not the one that had deserted diplomacy; it was America and the Western nations that had consistently sought to dictate their desires during the negotiations. Recovery and Rebuilding

In what is described by Iranian officials as the conflict of restoration and rebuilding, the foreign minister said he was confident Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. Every aspect of our defense have been rebuilt. We acquired multiple understandings from this conflict; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the vulnerabilities of the enemy."

He stated: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our atomic expertise, which they planned to obliterate, remains in place. The facilities and machinery, if damaged, will be reconstructed; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the national cohesion that they aimed at, but failed to break.
