Former Physician Accused of Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities have stated that a former doctor now faces charges for committing assaults against thirty-eight victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Allegations
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous acts of sexual assault – including some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, meticulously examining the available evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
Scope of the Investigation
These allegations come after what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
The defendant will appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.

The charging documents said the forty-five charges he is charged with:
- Fifteen counts of assault.
- Seventeen counts of assault by penetration.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
- 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
